Hi, My name is Diana and I am a mom, a wife, and a grandmother. My husband and I together have 5 children, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 son-in-law, and 7 grandchildren. I, myself, raised 3 sons who at different times attended private Christian school as well as public school and have also been homeschooled. I have seen and experienced a variety of educational experiences. My children are all productive, independent adults now, but when I was homeschooling them the current volume of internet resources, networks, online curriculum, etc, just were not available.
I began looking at online resources for homeschooling because of our daughter who is now beginning to teach her own children at home. My search began as an effort to find information and materials that would encourage her, supplement her chosen curriculum, and help stimulate the love of learning in my sweet grandchildren.
One thing I have found so far, that has me the most excited is the upcoming Ultimate Homeschool Expo which is an online convention of homeschoolers and potential homeschoolers.
